About Tail of Time
❤️ Why This Exists
Tail of Time was built because of our love for Woody, our miniature dachshund. Watching him grow older is bittersweet, but we wanted a way to celebrate every milestone and all the joy he brings into our lives. This project is a small tribute to the big place he holds in our hearts.
📊 How Dog Years Are Calculated
We use the AVMA-recommended formula to calculate dog age:
The first year equals 15 dog years
The second year adds 9
Each year after that adds:
4 dog years (small breeds)
5 dog years (medium breeds)
6 dog years (large breeds)
This gives a more accurate picture of your dog's life journey.
